Global Journalist

Program Preview: A Half-Century of the Peace Corps

The Peace Corps celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, while mourning the recent loss of its founder, Sargent Shriver. Volunteers have touched the lives of millions around the planet and spread America's good will, but have also been accused of spying and being tools of American imperialism.

Journalists and policy makers who have served in the Peace Corps or written about it will discuss the role of America's most famous volunteer organization this week on the Global Journalist.
