Newspaper editor killedPosted Feb 26 2010
Wilmer Ferrer, 60, deputy editor at the Panorama newspaper’s Caracas bureau, was killed in Guanare after being stabbed. Ferrer, who has been missing since Jan. 8, was previously buried as an unknown murder victim and was later identified on Feb. 12 by Guanare coroners. Ferrer was thought to be in Argentina on vacation at the time, so no one went looking for him when he disappeared, newspaper TalCual reports.
