Global Journalist
Global Journalist reports on the state of press freedom around the world, covers developments in international journalism and serves international journalists. We tell the stories of the storytellers.
Global Journalist was first published in 1995 for the International Press Institute by former Los Angeles Times publisher David Laventhol and former foreign editor Alvin Shuster. In 1999 the magazine moved to the Missouri School of Journalism where the magazine was produced by students at the School until 2010. Students work with staff members to produce multimedia content for the website and show, broadcast on KBIA.org, Central Missouri's NPR affiliate.

Global Journalist Radio
Global Journalist is a half-hour weekly discussion of international news by a panel of journalists from around the world. A live video webcast streams on Thursdays at 9 a.m. on the Reynolds Journalism Institute website. Phones lines will open at 9 a.m. for questions. Listeners may call 573-882-0014 or submit questions by email at globaljournalistprogram@gmail.com. The radio program airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. CST on KBIA, the National Public Radio Columbia.
